Bridging the Divide ~ A Call to Gather

A Ceremony to Bring Canadians & Americans together

Date: March 24th 2025

Time: 4pm – 530pm PST (check your time zones)

As our nations experience deepening political divisions, we’re creating a brave space to come together, share our truths, and witness each other’s experiences.

Hosts Megan Sheldon (Canadian) and Quanita Roberson (U.S Citizen) will co-create an intentional ceremonial gathering to help foster deeper connections during this overwhelming time of uncertainty.

This intimate circle welcomes all voices from both sides of the border to explore:

  • The complex emotions stirring in our nations
  • Our shared hopes and fears for our interconnected future
  • The grief and frustration that often goes unspoken
  • The enduring bonds between our nations that transcend political differences.

Through thoughtful dialogue and meaningful ritual, we’ll hold space for both the challenging emotions and the possibilities that emerge when we gather as a community of care. Together, we’ll weave a tapestry of understanding, remembering the deep connections that unite us, even in divided times.

This free community event centres both Canadian and American lived experiences in our current reality. This is not a space for political debate, and we have zero tolerance for hate speech of any kind.

*A recording will be available for those registered but unable to attend live.
