Organizations

Bring ceremony and ritual into your organization to mark transitions, build culture, and support your people.

People collaborating in a workplace workshop

Workplaces are full of transitions ~ arrivals and departures, endings and reinventions, losses that ripple through a team. Yet most organizations have no shared way to mark them. A colleague dies and the team returns to their desks. A department is restructured and nobody names what ended. People carry it anyway, into meetings and into the way they speak to one another.

Megan brings ritual and ceremony into organizations to help teams navigate change, support one another through grief, and build cultures of belonging. She has designed ceremonies and led workshops for large organizations, for small and mid-size businesses, and for hospice and end-of-life care teams.

…your guidance and insights regarding the celebration of life for our friend and colleague. Thank you for capturing the stories and sharing them so beautifully.

Where ritual meets work

Loss & Bereavement

A colleague dies. Someone returns from compassionate leave and nobody knows what to say. Teams are rarely given language for grief at work ~ Megan gives them both the words and something to do with them.

Change & Restructure

Layoffs, mergers, closures, reorganizations. The moments a company announces and then moves past, leaving people to process privately. Marking an ending openly lets a team begin the next thing together.

Arrivals & Departures

Retirements, farewells, milestones, and the welcoming of people into a team. Ceremonies that do more than a card passed around the office ~ designed for the culture you actually have.

Culture & Belonging

Ongoing practices that give a team a shared way to mark what happens to them, plus Be Ceremonial memberships and ritual resources as part of your wellness offering.

How it works

1 ~ Before

We begin with a scoping conversation ~ what your team is navigating, what has already been tried, and what you hope people leave with. Megan then designs the session around your organization rather than delivering a set curriculum.

2 ~ During

Megan facilitates in person or virtually, in a way that works for people sceptical about ritual as well as those who aren't. Nobody is made to share. The structure carries the room so people take part at whatever depth they choose.

3 ~ After

Your team leaves with shared language for loss and change, and simple practices they can use without Megan in the room ~ a way to mark the next departure, the next hard quarter, the next death, on their own.

Ways to work together

A Workshop

Half a day or a full day.

Interactive sessions for a team, a department, or a leadership group ~ grief literacy, marking transitions, and rituals people can carry on using afterwards. Quoted by format and group size.

A Keynote

A single talk.

Megan speaks on ritual, grief literacy and marking transitions at conferences, leadership offsites and all-hands gatherings. Booked as a single fee, in person or virtually.

A Partnership

Across several months.

Custom ceremonies for organizational moments, ongoing programmes, and Be Ceremonial memberships for your people. Arranged as a retainer, or priced per seat for wellness plans.

Every engagement begins with a scoping conversation, because what a team needs is rarely what the request form says. Most organizational engagements begin at $2,500 ~ where they land depends on format, group size, and how much design the work asks for.

Sessions across Metro Vancouver are included; travel beyond is quoted separately. Virtual delivery is available anywhere.

Ongoing support for your people

Beyond a single session, Employee Wellness Plans give your team access to the Be Ceremonial app and ritual resources year-round ~ priced per seat.

The team really appreciated the space to move through all the emotions that this business closure brought up. Some much needed healing and processing came through that ceremony, so we deeply appreciate you holding the space with such care.

The ritual education session with Megan was phenomenal. The feedback was very positive with everyone saying the discussion around ritual and ceremony was excellent. The ceremony was a beautiful way to end the day.

As a values-led business, we were thrilled at the opportunity to support our virtual team with the Be Ceremonial App as a gift of self care on Valentine's Day. Mental health and self/life/work balance are so important to us at iilo and we really feel like this app will allow our team to build ceremony into their lives.

Over the years, I've realized what a profound impact ritual and ceremony has on our lives - both personally and professionally. It was really beneficial to dive deeper into this truth with Megan's workshop and to gift our team with Be Ceremonial memberships. Being a wellness and purpose driven company, initiatives like these are paramount to ensuring we are living our values.
