Retreats

Some learning can only happen in person ~ around a fire, at a shared table, in circle. Arrive as you are; leave with new practices, deep connections and a ceremony you helped create.

Women of all ages gather at a retreat

Two ways to gather

Our retreats gather small groups in beautiful places close to Vancouver, weaving ritual, rest, story and ceremony into our time together. Day retreats are an afternoon or a full day of ritual on the North Shore and Bowen Island, a gentle way to begin or to return to your practice. Weekend retreats are two nights away at a retreat centre, with shared meals, time on the land and room for the group to settle in and go deeper.

Who should join

Our retreats are for anyone curious about ritual and ceremony, whatever your beliefs or experience. People come to mark a transition ~ a loss, an ending, a new beginning ~ to slow down and reconnect with the land, or simply to be held in a circle of others. No previous experience is needed, and everything is offered as an invitation. Some retreats are open to everyone and others are gathered for women, so each retreat's page tells you who it's for.

How to join

Because our retreats are small and intimate, most are by application. Fill in the short form on the retreat's page, and we'll read it personally and reply by email; once your place is confirmed, you'll receive a secure payment link. Some day retreats, like our Elements of Ritual days at Nectar Yoga, are booked directly with the venue through the link on the retreat's page. Not sure which retreat is right for you? Write to us. We're happy to talk it through.

What participants say

Immersing in ritual and ceremony in a gorgeous environment with Megan was an experience I’ll never forget. The accommodations were wonderful and provided amazing meals. The days were filled with inspiring stories, gentle nudges, and a strong sense of community. These ladies provided a brave space to share, cry, laugh, and build relationships with.
