Rites of Passage in Motherhood
Tune into this honest and powerful conversation between Jessie Harrold and Megan Sheldon exploring the various rites of passage on the motherhood journey, and the need for ritual to acknowledge the visible and invisible moments of change we face as mothers.

Rites of Passage in Motherhood
During our conversation we explore the role ritual and ceremony can play in a motherhood journey. We also talk about why it’s important to mark the less visible rites of passage and why we need to normalize grief in motherhood.

Rites of Passage
A rite of passage is a ceremony or ritual that marks a major life transition. These transitions can be social, religious, or personal. They signal a movement from one stage of life to another.
Rites of passage are found in cultures all over the world. They are an important part of how societies mark and celebrate the transitions that people go through in life. Rites of passage can strengthen the bonds between individuals and their communities.
